Where are all the half Puerto Rican, curly-haired American expatriate male speakers without trendy facial hair?

LOL! And a great article. I noticed all the posts about this topic in my RSS list today and I hated every one of them, except yours, because I agree with you on this one.

Touché, Anil. I'm certainly intimidated; yours is quite a list, and I'd be honored to be in that company. Or yours, for that matter, even though you're a man ;-)

You did, however, specifically try to come up a list of female speakers. Eric doesn't do that with male speakers. And that's my point.

But I'll give you this: If I can't speak at your event, I'll definitely buy tickets; I'm not missing that one.

"Anil posts about an imaginary conference in which discrimination against male speakers is apparently tolerated and encouraged"

Nope, I picked speakers on merit, and it just worked out that way -- there's no barrier to men being at the imaginary show. Are conference organizers actually discriminating against men here? I just don’t believe that’s the issue.

Maybe guys just weren't interested in being at my event because they were intimidated.
